Shree R S Goenka, Jt. Chairman, Emami Group is best known as one of the Founder Promoters of Emami Group of Companies, with a turnover of over Rs.25,000 crs.  He is an unparalleled achiever of the modern business. He had a  a stellar academic record with M.com and LLB to his credit. Shree Radhe Shyam Ji  was appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Kolkata between 2003 to 2007.  He was awarded the Cavalier Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland in 2007.

He was conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards by The Economic Times Bengal Corporate awards in 2016 and EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst Young in 2015. In 2022, the State Government of West Bengal conferred upon Mr R S Goenka the title of Banga Bibhushan, the highest civilian award of the State.
